1.The South Campus Phase II development and architectural plan encompasses approximately 6.43 hectares of land west of Phase I, representing 6.37% of the total campus area. On July 28, 2006, the Hsinchu City Government announced the implementation of the "Main Plan for the Change of the Hsinchu Science Park Special Zone (Second Comprehensive Review) (Hsinchu City Portion)." This plan will convert part of the cemetery into land for future campus development.
2.The public briefing session will be handled in accordance with the key points of the environmental impact assessment public briefing session and will be held on October 26, 2023. After the briefing explains the content of the relevant development plan, the residents and relevant units are invited to ask questions and exchange opinions on the spot. The relevant meeting minutes will be published on the designated website for at least 30 days. 3.NTHU South Campus has undergone a new environmental impact assessment (EIA) review process. On September 27, 2024, the Hsinchu City Government conducted an on-site inspection and preliminary review meeting for the "Environmental Impact Assessment Report of the South Campus Development Project" at the university. During the meeting, the General Affairs Director and other attendees engaged in thorough discussions with the EIA review committee members. Key topics included building coverage ratio, floor area ratio, and green building standards. Further adjustments and discussions on the content of the report will be carried out following the resolutions of the Hsinchu City Government's EIA review meeting.
