1.Continuously facilitate the installation and grid-tied power sales of the university’s solar photovoltaic systems. By 2024, installations were completed for the Motorcycle Parking Tower (83.2 kWp), Swimming Pool (263.52 kWp), New Sports Hall (175.68 kWp), Administration Building (98.82 kWp), Macronix Building (29.28 kWp), Shui Mu Living Center (43.92 kWp), Feng Yun Building (29.28 kWp), West Campus Buildings 45-50 and Zhuang Jing Building (232.98 kWp), and Alumni Sports Hall (99 kWp), achieving an annual power sales output exceeding 1 million kWh.
2.The rooftop solar photovoltaic system for the Engineering Building is currently under planning (with an expected capacity of over 400 kWp). In response to ongoing construction projects for the South Campus Education Building, Arts Building, and South Campus Dormitories, rooftop solar photovoltaic systems have been prioritized and incorporated into the planning of these new facilities.
3.All campus buildings constructed after the year 2000 have been certified to meet relevant green building standards. From the planning phase onward, these buildings have been designed and developed based on green building principles. This approach underscores the university’s commitment to environmentally friendly design, aiming to minimize resource waste and environmental impact during the construction process. Sustainable practices are integrated throughout the design, construction, and operation phases to ensure that these buildings comply with recognized green building standards in energy efficiency, water resource utilization, waste management, and the health and comfort of their users.
