Abstract/Objectives

Basketball sports technology includes offensive actions (shooting, passing and dribbling), defensive actions, advanced courses in addition to the basic actions required of students, more importantly, the establishment of the concept of attack and defense of the whole field, can enhance the interest in participating in basketball, develop sports habits.

Results/Contributions

Steam teaching intervention physical education courses can increase students' participation in sports after class and effectively establish students' correct concept of exercise, motivate students to continue to participate in sports courses, meet physical and psychological needs from the exercise process, and achieve stress relief effect. After the STEAM teaching intervention sports course, students' psychological feelings and actual participation in sports behavior will not be limited by different genders, and can effectively improve students' sports attitudes, change students' actual participation in sports behavior, and cultivate students' continuous participation in sports habits after class. Multimedia teaching involves physical education courses to become a novel teaching and learning mode, but indoor and outdoor physical education classes are diverse, whether they all show a positive impact.
