Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
Results/Contributions
The team has already implemented blue-free street lighting at the shore of Hsiang Szi Lake Lake; after communicating with the university, the team has recently implemented blue-free lighting in the reading room of the Department of Materials Science and engineering. In addition to the above, we will also provide dimmable candle-colored desk lamps or luminaires to make the office environment more friendly to the staff. After the installation is completed, the "Blue Harm Quantification Spectrometer" invented by our laboratory and patented by National Tsing Hua University will be used to measure the lighting friendliness of the target area, including color temperature, illuminance, retinal permissible exposure limit (MPI), and melatonin suppression sensitivity (MSS), and to compare the difference before and after the blue harmlessness to confirm and quantify the improvement effect.
