Abstract/Objectives

Remind all units to strengthen the management of surrounding waste, removal of stagnant water containers, and vector mosquito prevention work, as well as environmental clean-up operations. Continuously conduct inspections of mosquito breeding sources in the campus environment, provide reports on any deficiencies, and remind all units to make improvements and enhance environmental clean-up efforts.

Results/Contributions

1.In 2025, the campus environment was cleaned up for dengue fever and mosquito control. Starting in March 2025, the campus environment was inspected around all buildings on the main campus and the National Taiwan University campus. Any deficiencies were reported to the relevant management units for improvement and environmental sanitation.

2.On March 18, 2015, a dengue fever environmental inspection and education briefing was held on campus to remind all units to strengthen the elimination of breeding grounds and environmental management in their premises.

3.On November 21, 2025, a "Dengue Fever and Mosquito Vector Elimination and Prevention Promotion Meeting" was held in collaboration with the Hsinchu City Environmental Protection Bureau. Professor Tsai Kun-hsien, Vice Dean of the College of Public Health at National Taiwan University, was invited to give a lecture to strengthen and implement dengue fever prevention and control work on campus.
