Abstract/Objectives

The event was primarily held in person, with online participation also available. It featured presentations by three experts: Dr. Chin-Cheng Jian, Senior Vice President of Ton-Yen General Hospital (topic: Clinical experience and insights on reversing metabolic syndrome); Dr. Chih-Wei Wu, Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Intellectual Property Officer of Polarispharma.com. (topic: Pioneering a new era of metabolic therapies for cancer); and Dr. Wen-Chin Yang, Founder of Pharamasaga Biotech (topic: A new paradigm for reversing diabetes). Following the presentations, there was a Q&A session to allow attendees to learn more about metabolic medical technology. The event concluded with a luncheon for the speakers and faculty members to discuss future opportunities for collaboration between industry and academia in the field of metabolic medical technology.

Results/Contributions

This year, we invited founders and senior executives from the biomedical industry, as well as physicians, to share their experiences with students, broadening their horizons and inspiring them to pursue interdisciplinary learning and development. A total of 274 people participated, both in person and online.
