Micro-plastic pollution in marine is getting seriously day by day. Researchers are concerning about this issue and finding solutions. Now, there is no enough study about micro-plastic in marine environment in Taiwan. This study will collect fish samples from western sea of Taiwan, and analyze micro-plastic in fish gut. To understand the abundance, type and size of micro-plastic in fish gut. SDGs Goal 6 shows the importance of clean water and equal right of using water source safely. While goal 14 shows concern of life below water and reduce pollutant from land into sea. This study focuses on microplastic in fish gut, combines both ideas: marine water quality and life below water.
