The purpose of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the basic principles of solar cells, a semi-quantitative evaluation of solar cell design optimization, and an introduction to the current development of novel solar cells. The prerequisite courses for this course are solid-state electronic components or related semiconductor components courses. After completing this course, you will have a clear understanding of the current status of solar cells and the development of novel solar cells. This course aims to achieve three goals: 1. Understand the impact of various physical parameters on the characteristics of solar cell components; 2. Understand how to evaluate/analyze the main parameters that affect solar cell characteristics based on the measured battery characteristics, especially JV characteristics. , and how to improve it; 3. Basic understanding and future development trends of various solar cells.
