Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
This course aims to teach students with a background in science and engineering how to invest in the right career in the right way. There are hundreds of industries, how to find the most explosive industry and the most profitable company? Science and technology are changing with each passing day. How to find the most promising corporation in this fast-changing world, helping you go even further on the shoulder of the giants.
Results/Contributions

Professor Tsai owns a profound background in industries. Sharing how TSMC started and the obstacles it faced, Prof. Tsai shared the inner thoughts of the managers of industries. TSMC charity organization offers vulnerable groups with plenty of resources. These behaviors teach students to put their strength into helping others when they are successful, which is highly correlated to sustainable development goals.

Apart from that, there were several lectures offered by experts in investing, who told students to find the target in investing by combing one’s understanding in the industry and future expectations, such as Low Orbit Satellite and 5G network.

The course gave students the methods to cultivate their strength. Not giving the fish directly, instead, it enabled students to go even further on their own.
