Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
In the rapidly urbanizing modern society, the connection between humans and nature is becoming weaker. For many people, they are limited to campuses, common species in parks, making it harder to imagine how to do something for the wildlife. The first step of the course was, first, guide students to understand wild animals, learn the basic knowledge from indoor courses, and then rebuild the connection between people and wild animals through field observation through the course. The second step was to introduce the basic concepts of ecological conservation. Through case analysis and field observation, we understood conservation-related events that occur around our lives, explore possible action plans, and how to practice them in our daily lives. After the course, students learned how to use sound, traces, and telescopes to identify and observe wild animals; place to understand the connotation of ecological conservation, through daily behaviors and eating habits, find that they can make some contributions to ecological conservation in the vicinity; finally, they will access several channels, such as the Citizen Scientist Project, and the Wildlife Rescue System, they are directions in which those interested in it can participate more actively in the future.
