Abstract/Objectives

"The Junshan Concert Hall" is named in honor of former president Shen Jun-Shan and is a redevelopment of the auditorium with over half a century of history. The concert hall enlisted the original team from the Wei Wu-Ying Cultural Center - architect Luo Xing-Hua and the lighting and sound team - along with architectural acoustician Xu Ya-ying to create a vineyard-style seating arrangement around the orchestra with improved steel structure, expanded backstage space, and rehearsal areas. (1) Junshan Concert Hall: Expected to be completed in 2031, it will be a surround-style classical music hall equipped with professional facilities with a sound insulation coefficient of 25 and a reverberation time of 2 seconds. It will also include rehearsal rooms, instrument rooms, performance control rooms, musician lounges, and other professional facilities and equipment. (2) Heqin Performing Arts Hall: This multifunctional performance space on campus hosts music, theater, dance, and film screenings. After the improvements, both front and backstage facilities and performance equipment will be well-equipped.
