Abstract/Objectives
The Lai Shiping team from Tsinghua University used the ALMA and JCMT observatories to study the forming protostar HOPS-370. In their research, they successfully measured the bipolar diffusion coefficient for the first time, which is an important parameter that influences the formation of protostellar disks. This measurement could enhance the understanding of the processes involved in star formation and disk development around young stars.
