The central theme of the course since its inception in 2020 was to increase the global vision, observation skills and integrity of business leaders. Through the interdisciplinary use of humanities, art and social practice, we encourage corporate executives to break through their boundaries and diversify their thinking. In the previous semester, we've invited author Gongsun Ce to share the revelations of Zizhi Tongjian, or Comprehensive Mirror in Aid of Governance, in a modern context, poet Du Yang on the story of Taiwan through the past century, musician Ju Tzong-Ching with the interdisciplinary innovation of performance art and David Chang of B Lab Taiwan introducing impact investing. For this semester, poet Luo Chi-cheng, Commissioner Chi of the Control Yuan and President Liao of the New Homeland Foundation are invited to provide guest lectures to our students, increasing their knowledge on subjects such as ESG, CSR and the issue of zero carbon emissions.
