According to the research results, it was concluded that female baseball players can be vulnerable to gender stereotypes and mainstream values of elite education from the society and family and hinder their involvement in baseball game. Although female baseball players may face the dilemma of gender stereotypes on the field and their passion for sports, women’s group can play such a empowerment for female individuals to resume their place in baseball participation.
Additionally, gender stereotypes were reinforced because the baseball field and game rules were tailored to men’s physical conditions. Therefore, female players were more likely experience frustration when playing on the field because the game and setting were not gender friendly to female. In sum, the enthusiasm for baseball can prompt female players questioning the gender inequality on baseball field and start to create an environment that is more friendly for female players. Based on the research results, it is recommended to coaches and counselors to raise their gender equality awareness especially when working with female baseball players. Government or baseball professional organizations should create female friendly environment by holding female baseball games or changing rules or settings to fit the
needs of female players. Overall, gender equality awareness should be promoted in the society in order to lift the gender barriers for female baseball players.
