National Tsing Hua University, from December 13th (Wednesday) to December 22nd (Friday), 2023, held an eight-day exhibition of achievements, titled "Engaging with the Field: 2023 NTHU USR Expo." Alongside this event, longstanding partners in local practice jointly signed the "Declaration of Action on Regional Revitalization in the Hsinchu Area." Signatories included Fu Chi-Mei, Director of Hsinchu County Agriculture Bureau; Chiang Sheng-Jen, Director of Hsinchu City Environmental Protection Bureau; Chang Chih-Hung, Magistrate of Hengshan Township; and Chuang Ming-Tseng, Magistrate of Beipu Township. Deputy Minister of the Council of Indigenous Peoples, Chou Chiang-Chieh, also attended as a witness. In addition to the signing ceremony, the event incorporated creative combinations of local landscapes, music composition, and musical instrument performances, showcasing innovative blends of locality, audience, and humanities.
