Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
This project is centered around the "Vietnam Studies Talent Cultivation Program" and is one of the three key directions highlighted in our university’s Humanities and Social Sciences College under the Higher Education Deepening 2.0 plan, specifically focusing on "Multiculturalism" as a concrete practice. Our goal is to cultivate a new generation of researchers in the near future who are able to communicate in Vietnamese, conduct research in Vietnam, and understand and experience the cultural spirit and emotions of Vietnam.
Results/Contributions

This program provides participants with three key experiences: 1. Learning Vietnamese, 2. Living in Vietnam for a period of time, and 3. Conducting research on Vietnam. Once participants have gained these three experiences, they will have the foundational knowledge, understanding, and confidence to conduct research in Vietnam. After a year and a half of the program's cultivation period, participants have successfully acquired these three experiences and have begun to develop the ability to conduct research using Vietnamese-language literature.

In terms of international exchange, we hosted two foreign researchers or scholars in Taiwan and organized four overseas exchange events for the team. The participants also presented their research outcomes at the final workshop held on January 18, 2025.
