Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
In December 2019, the United Nations Framework Convention of Climate Change (UNFCCC) conducted COP25 summit, reaffirming commitments of Paris Agreement to save the world from global warming by reducing the industrial emission of carbon dioxide to absolute zero. The target is to keep the average global temperature increase below 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. New Zealand and Germany are the leading states that committed to zero emission of carbon dioxide in the foreseeable future, while other countries should pick up the pace to avoid global warming.
