NTHU worked with the Hsinchu City Government to set up 4 YouBike stations with hundreds of rental bikes for riders to check out with Easy card, a debit card issued by Easy card company. The advantages of YouBike rental service are the fixed stations, professional maintenance, 24/7 operation services, etc., meeting the needs of students’ transportation between classrooms, and to the city downtown. Moreover, it helps maintain the order of bicycle parking and the cleanliness of the environment. YouBike has now become the most commonly used transportation for students. The expansion of YouBike service on campus will be considered according to the demand of riders in future.
