Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
According to the United Nations, one-third of the world’s annual food production (equivalent to 1.3 billion tons) spoils due to improper transportation and harvesting, rotting in the trash cans of consumers and retailers. We have observed that there are a lot of leftover food in school meal manufacturers, and we hope to launch a program called "Food Leftover Bags" to improve the problem of food waste and reduce the amount at the source. This plan will be similar to a joint sales plan. We will cooperate with school meal vendors on campus, and let each store put the surplus food in the special sales area for sale at an affordable price. We will also assist merchants in publicity, such as the second-hand shooting of po text in the school version, placing announcement posters at the door of the store, and sending out cooperation plan stickers so that students and teachers can clearly know which merchants have cooperated with this plan and can browse and purchase. It not only prevents food or ingredients from being wasted in vain, but also enables better re-consumption ; manufacturers can reduce costs and allows consumers to buy what they want at a better price, creating a win-win situation!
