In order to enhance the ethos of competitive sports in colleges and universities in our country, improve the level of sports technology, and cultivate outstanding athletes, the National College Games (hereinafter referred to as the National Universiade) is specially held. The National Universiade is named as the National College Games of the Republic of China 2000. It is held from April to May every year, and the meeting period is limited to seven days. The National Universiade is an annual sports event for colleges and universities. It is planned by the Ministry of Education and undertaken by colleges and universities.
