Abstract/Objectives

The team developed a World Café and a science experiment course aimed at inspiring Tanzanian students. The World Café resembles a career development session where team members share their academic backgrounds and future paths, encouraging students to explore diverse possibilities beyond their common aspiration to become clergy. In the science experiment course, students engage in hands-on experimental education, fostering a rigorous scientific mindset. Additionally, programming languages, starting with basic Python syntax, are integrated into the curriculum, leading students toward practical applications. This educational initiative broadens students' international perspectives, opening up new opportunities and serving as a crucial starting point for their programming journey.

Results/Contributions (500 words)

The team designed a World Café and a science experiment course. The World Café is similar to a career development sharing session, where team members share their academic backgrounds, learning content, and future development directions with local students, inspiring them to imagine diverse learning paths. Since many students aspire to become clergy, the sharing from the team members can stimulate different possibilities and imaginations for Tanzanian students. In the science experiment course, the team guided students to personally experience experimental education, fostering their rigorous scientific attitude and professional spirit. At the same time, the team incorporated programming languages into the learning content, starting with basic Python syntax and gradually guiding students into practical applications. Through this series of courses, the team broadens the students' international perspective, opening new possibilities for their lives and making this learning experience an important starting point and stepping stone into the world of programming.
