Abstract/Objectives
This project aims to cultivate teachers for self-directed learning in high schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli, and provide sustainable and high-quality self-directed learning education for high school students. Also, teachers should be trained to guide students in mastering the self-directed learning curriculum of the 12-year Basic Education Curriculum Guidelines to become autonomous learners.
Results/Contributions
This project trained 3 pre-service teachers and held 8 self-directed learning workshops, helping nearly 300 students to effectively engage in self-directed learning. We also established a complete teacher training system, so that it can continue to improve the self-directed learning guidance knowledge and competitiveness of pre-service teachers in cooperation with Institute of Learning Science and Technology, Tsing Hua Journal of Educational Research, and Center for Teacher Education.
