Title: The Basel Mission and Hakka Migration in Sabah
Results/Contributions (500 words)
This lecture continues Professor Li Yuzhong's recent research on the Beseh Chah Association and the Hakka ethnic group, discussing the history of how the Hakka people migrated to Sabah with the assistance of the Beseh Chah Association, and sharing the results of his field investigations.
In Malaysia, there is still much data to be explored in field investigations and historical studies, which is sufficient to yield more research outcomes. Students are encouraged to pay more attention to Southeast Asia and engage in historical research on the region to produce more outstanding results.
