Since Prof. Wei-Tien Dylan Tsai offered the Ancient and Modern Poetry Chanting course in 2017, our public recitals have been held six times. Through this enchanting event, everyone was made aware of the difference between singing and chanting, while appreciating the state of mind of the poet. Furthermore, the students can build their confidence and performance style to reveal their inner and best self. This way, we can purify and heal our mind and soul through poetry chanting, so that people quietly appreciate the great creations of poets from ancient times to the present, while melting into their emotions and thoughts. This in turn may enable people to move away from their depression, and to overcome many hurdles in life.
