Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
This presentation introduce the fundamental principles of Generative AI (GAI) and explain how it learns from vast amounts of data to generate new content, such as text, images, and music. Through machine learning and deep learning techniques, GAI can analyze patterns, mimic styles, and even create works that surpass human expectations. Additionally, we will demonstrate practical applications of GAI in various fields, such as automated document processing, image generation, and code assistance, showcasing how it enhances work efficiency and creativity. However, GAI also presents several challenges, including the generation of misleading content that undermines information credibility, disputes over copyright and creative ethics, and broader societal impacts such as disruptions to the job market and the need for legal regulations. This presentation will explore these issues and encourage the audience to consider how to responsibly use GAI while benefiting from its advancements, ensuring preparedness for future challenges.
Results/Contributions (500 words)

Through this learning experience, I have gained a deeper understanding of Generative AI (GAI), particularly in its operational principles, application scenarios, and related challenges. GAI primarily relies on machine learning and deep learning technologies, learning from vast amounts of data to generate various types of content, such as text, images, and music. It plays a significant role in automation, creative production, and decision-making assistance.

During the learning process, I discovered that GAI has been widely applied across different fields. For example, automated document processing can enhance corporate efficiency, image and video generation technologies are valuable in design and entertainment industries, and code generation tools can help developers accelerate coding. However, alongside GAI’s advancements, several challenges have emerged, such as the potential for generating misleading content that affects information credibility, copyright and creative ethics disputes that may lead to legal risks, and its impact on the job market, which deserves attention.

This presentation has helped students grasp the technical background of GAI and consider how to use this technology responsibly to ensure its positive impact on society. In the future, we will continue to follow the development trends of GAI and explore its potential applications in various fields to better address upcoming technological challenges.
