Abstract/Objectives
We utilize digital technologies such as the Internet of Things and Augmented Reality. In the past, we have built 'The Nature Trail for Agroecology Education' for the Lao Da Fen leisure farm of Dashanbei. The students at National Tsing Hua University guide rural elementary school students to participate in ecological learning through the “Big Hands Holding Little Hands” approach on the “The Nature Trail for Agroecology Education,” learning while walking, guided by nature.STEAM education is not confined to classroom learning alone, the outdoors serves as an ecological classroom, worthy of exploration.We hope to provide a revitalization opportunity for traditional and aspiring old farms in rural areas, also attracting farmers’ children to return to their hometowns.In addition to providing free services to disadvantaged groups and children in rural areas, we also collaborate with corporate sponsors, founding 'USR + CSR' to expand social services.
Results/Contributions

1. Optimizing and maintaining the “Lao Da Fen’ Nature Trail for Agroecology Education,” including adding and updating database hotspots, replacing QR code signs, improving network quality, and so on.


2. Organizing multiple “Lao Da Fen ’ Nature Trail for Agroecology Education” events, including “The Affiliated Experimental Elementary School of National Tsing Hua University main and T.O.S campus” and “Shakeng Elementary School” etc.

Among them, the special education class students from the T.O.S. campus enthusiastically participate in the travel & study, They also personally plant young Arabica coffee bean seedlings in Hengshan.

These memories and educational experiences are invaluable to the children and will remain unforgettable for a lifetime.


3. Achieve corporate cooperation has facilitated the 'USR + CSR' sponsorship collaboration with Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI), and AOI employees also actively volunteered their time and efforts, joining hands with the children, they explore and travel & study together at the Lao Da Fen leisure farm.


4. Mr. Ming-Yuan Yang of the Lao Da Fen farmers, says that “Tsing Hua’ teaches bring new technologies, making us feel young again. Now, our older farmers are even more hardworking than younger, and we can keep working for over 20 years.”

In addition, farmers’ children incorporate technology and maker culture into the farm, and they are influenced and moved by farmers who have young hearts. They are willing to return to their hometowns and work together, creating employment opportunities and promoting the growth of the silver economy, this is the most rewarding aspect of implementing our program!
