Abstract/Objectives

Inviting researcher Wang Hong-tai from the Institute of History and Philology of Academia Sinica to give a special lecture on "The Relationship between Literature and Martial Arts in the Ming Dynasty and Martial Arts Culture."

Results/Contributions

In this lecture, Wang Hongtai approaches the development of the national system and social cultural atmosphere of the Ming Dynasty from a dual perspective. He combines the complex and ever-changing aspects of the scholar-official class to explore how the Ming Dynasty shaped a unique martial culture, and shares his journey in uncovering academic topics.
