Abstract/Objectives
If you take the advanced swimming course this semester, you should have the ability to swim at least 50 meters using the breast stroke swimming style. The course content includes four competitive swimming styles (butterfly stroke , back stroke, breast stroke, and free style) and various turning techniques, as well as practical drills of life-saving skills in water. The goal of the course is to improve your swimming ability and knowledge, and to cultivate correct concepts and techniques for self-rescue and life-saving skills in water.
Results/Contributions
In addition to teaching the four competitive swimming styles such as butterfly stroke , back stroke, breast stroke, and free style. This course also incorporates the concept of water sports safety and the practical operation of life-saving skills.
After a semester of guidance and practice, the elective students can benefit from the skills, knowledge and abilities of competitive four-style standard movements. Thereby enhancing their motivation to participate in swimming. Furthermore, the handling and getting rid of water accidents can also be properly achieved.
