Abstract/Objectives

Students from the College of Biomedical Science at National Tsing Hua University were led to attend the 2025 Asia Biotechnology Exhibition. Through visiting the exhibition and learning about various new biotechnology and medical technologies, students were able to gain exposure to the latest developments and application trends in the industry. The activity also encouraged interaction with industry professionals, broadened students’ perspectives, enhanced their understanding of the biotechnology and healthcare sectors, and fostered their interest and ability to pursue careers in the biomedical field.

Results/Contributions

A total of 42 students participated in this activity. Through on-site visits and interactions, they gained a more concrete understanding of the biotechnology and medical industry, as well as insights into the applications of related technologies in clinical and industrial settings. Most students reported that being able to see industry exhibits and innovations up close helped broaden their learning perspective and increased their interest and ideas for future careers in the biomedical field. Overall, the activity successfully achieved its intended learning and networking outcomes.
