Results/Contributions

This series of Educative Gardening courses creates content that is relatively led by university students. At the beginning of each semester, teachers have a certain image of their course framework but can also accommodate problems that occur during the course and must be solved, or if university students have reasonable inspirations that can be included in the course; therefore, the course includes elements of action research.

Every partner participating in this series of classes expended their time and efforts. Che-yu Chuang once drew this comparison: The feeling of devotion, here, is similar to being the wood in a campfire, constantly burning yourself to warm the surrounding children. Even though it was mentally draining and time-consuming, partners continued to devote themselves with passion and more partners were now willing to stay and co-manage the course. It was similar to a constantly growing tree that may have once been young and tender, yet it refused to bow to the wind and rain, raising its head to the sun, and had now grown to bring positive energy to the world. This is a course that has been cultivated with love, where a group of people leads another group to slowly grow into a beautiful community that can impact the world.
