Abstract/Objectives
After attending the "Indigenous Archaeology Workshop" for two days, participants gained a deeper understanding of archaeology, which for many young people in the community had previously seemed distant and merely related to excavation. The workshop emphasized the urgency and importance of preserving tribal sites and their cultural significance. Attendees recognized the need to value and protect these heritage sites, moving beyond a simplistic view of archaeology. The hope is to offer more similar courses in the future, allowing greater community involvement and the integration of strengths from various fields within archaeology, fostering a continued emotional connection to their cultural and historical roots.
Results/Contributions

Through two days of learning, the essence of "archaeology" is no longer something distant and difficult to grasp for us. When it comes to viewing the field of "archaeology," most young people within our community tend to regard it as merely a textual expression or as a process of excavating in old villages, without fully understanding the urgency and substantial meaning of "archaeology" for the community. However, after two days at the "Indigenous Archaeology Workshop," every participant has deeply realized the importance of valuing the preservation of tribal sites and their cultural significance. We hope that in the future there will be more opportunities to offer similar courses, enabling more members of our community to participate and harness the strengths and innovations of various fields within "archaeology" to continue the warmth and emotional connection of old village sites.
