Abstract/Objectives

Categorical data analysisTopics include (1) Introduction; Relative Risk; (2) Contingency Tables; (3) Introduction to Generalized Linear Models; (4) Logistic Regression; (5) Log-linear Models; (6. Multi-category Logit Models; (7) Models for Matched Pairs. During the course, students will be exposed to data analysis in the areas of epidemiology, agricultural experiments, clinical trials, and case-control match-pair trials.

Results/Contributions

The students are expected to learn when generalized linear models may be applied, how to apply them, and how to properly interpret the results.
