Results/Contributions

To help overseas Chinese students gain a deeper understanding of Taiwanese culture, our team guided the Overseas Chinese Students Association in organizing a cultural day trip. In addition to Sanxia, the destinations included a visit to the Taipei Rose Garden and Ningxia Night Market, allowing students to experience the local Taiwanese culture.

The first stop was the Sanxia Indigo Dyeing Park, where local experts introduced the indigo dyeing techniques, and students got to create fabrics with different patterns by themselves. They then visited the old street of Sanxia, experiencing traditional toys and local delicacies. In the afternoon, the students headed to the Taipei Rose Garden for a tour and a brief rest; by night, they all went to Ningxia Night Market to taste Taiwanese delicacies such as oyster omelette and stinky tofu.

Students enthusiastically signed up, helping each other during the indigo dyeing process and admiring the beauty of their finished products. Throughout the tour, they also experienced the delicious food and warm hospitality of Taiwan.
