Abstract/Objectives
For eternal-used of resource, our procurement was primarily chosen items with an environmental stamp. By the amount of money to allocate “information house appliance” and “house appliance”, for example, PC, fax/printing machine, water dispenser, air conditioner …. The process of purchase was applied by the demanding unit, then was implemented by the procurement unit with verification of items with an environmental stamp.
Results/Contributions
1.Following NTHU environmental protection and occupational safety and health management policy, we will continue to promote various campus sustainable development programs, implement procurement management, and foster a safe cooperative relationship between the university, suppliers, and contractors to jointly prevent hazards and protect the environment.
2.Our proportion of green procurement, from 88.73% in 2011 to 99.5% in 2015. Still, in 2023, this maintained above 95%, which is phenomenal performance among all colleges in domestic.
