Abstract/Objectives
This course introduces the historical evolution, significance and characteristics, models and classifications of big data analysis, as well as the advantages of its application in the industry, commerce, , health care and other fields. At the same time, data analysis software is used to conduct case studies and practical exercises. Finally, it connects big data analysis to machine learning and explains that big data analysis is a part of artificial intelligence. The learning goal of the course is for students to understand and apply the comprehensive concepts of big data analysis, be able to do data visualization and modeling. It is suitable for students in the fields of both natural and social sciences. Students will understand the concepts and applications of big data, and improve their abilities in data processing, statistical analysis, and prediction of the future. It is expected that students from all backgrounds will have the cross-domain ability of management thinking, computational thinking, and presentation aesthetic design.
Results/Contributions
Students study hard and achieve the goals of this course.
