Abstract/Objectives
Tsinghua University School of Arts has implemented the core compulsory course "Art Lecture" since the 108th academic year, and it has become a required course for all freshmen in the school. There are about 150 students taking the course, divided into three classes. It is held in the first semester of each academic year. A total of 15 scholars and experts are invited to give lectures each semester. The lecture topics will cover fine arts, crafts, contemporary curation, digital aesthetics, interactive art, music performance, sound art, computer music, kinetic art, and virtual reality. Forecast performance, computer animation, experimental video...etc. Through the invitation of outstanding domestic experts and scholars to teach about the artistic context and appreciation, international new trends and latest works in the fields of science and technology, media art, craft design, music and other art fields, students will be inspired to have knowledge, interest and international vision in art. This semester's course will feature "Talk about Creation" inviting creators from Taiwan's Mesozoic and Young Entrepreneurial Generations to the classroom to talk with course students about what creation is all about. Starting from the context of personal creation, we discuss the possibility of creation, hoping that through the sharing of creators, students will be inspired to create imagination.
Results/Contributions

It continued the theme of "Discussing Creation" from the previous academic year in the Special Forum on Arts. Through sharing sessions led by young artists and teams in Taiwan's technology art scene, we aim to guide incoming freshmen through the creative process, critical thinking, and industry insights. The sharing by young artists helps students prepare for and envision their future. Technology art is inherently interdisciplinary, so this series invites speakers from various fields including photography, sound art, speculative design, curation, music, theater, and technical support. In addition to focusing on creative thinking, this year's lectures place a greater emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. We have invited founders of technology art teams to share their experiences in teamwork, including well-known Taiwanese technology art teams such as LuxuryLogico, Peppercorns Interactive Media Art Inc., Goldilocks Production…. More insights into team project execution will be shared, along with an invitation for the founder of Artogo to discuss the development of online exhibitions, providing a comprehensive understanding of personal creative processes, interdisciplinary communication, team collaboration, and future trends. The aim is to give first-year students a conceptual framework and context for their upcoming studies and encourage their development based on the experiences of artistic predecessors.
