Abstract/Objectives
Investigate various greenhouse gas emission sources on campus, refer to the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory Method of the Environmental Protection Agency of the Executive Yuan, and accept the guidance of the Hsinchu City Environmental Protection Bureau on campus greenhouse gas inventory to gradually establish the campus greenhouse gas emission baseline and provide periodic carbon reduction target suggestions.
Results/Contributions

Through the on-site guidance of Hsinchu City Environmental Protection Bureau's campus greenhouse gas inventory, discuss the campus greenhouse gas emissions objects and emission calculation methods in Scope 1, 2, and 3. Currently, the main source of campus greenhouse gas emissions is the greenhouse gas generated by the electricity consumption of the Scope 2 campus. Gas emissions, accounting for more than 90% of the campus's overall greenhouse gas emissions.

Starting from 2022, NTHU net-zero emission sustainable development project will be launched, and sustainable human resources training courses will be carried out for all units on campus, campus greenhouse gas inventory operations and external verification, and net-zero emission path planning, etc.
