Abstract/Objectives
Belize International Information Service Group is one of the four international volunteer groups in the school. Although the team has the youngest history, it has received great local response after passing on the experience of the 9th team and revising the plan.
The purpose of the team’s service is to level the gap in educational resources between the urban and rural areas and the rich and the poor by donating information hardware, setting up solar panel systems in rural primary schools, and teaching camp courses. Scholarship programs have been added in 16 and 18 years. The painting and seed teacher course assists local teachers in preparing lessons and teaching, and helps students from poor families to enter school and find future employment.
In this year’s plan, in view of the fact that the team observed that the local area did not pay much attention to the concept of safe water use in 19 years, the water resources courses were specially designed to simulate the impact of landfill and waste gas pollution on drinking water. Finally, the students were taught how to make filters. The water device hopes to sow the seeds of paying attention to water quality and sanitation in the local area to encourage local residents and the government to improve.
