Sustainable Development Goals

Abstract/Objectives

To promote the concept of global sustainability, the library is proud to present ”The Power of Reading: Creating a Sustainable Earth” Book Fair in celebration of World Earth Day and World Book Day. The book fair features selected titles on plastic-free living, ecological observation, climate change, and popular animals/plants science, all aimed at enhancing environmental awareness. The library also invites readers to recommend books, films, or documentaries related to the SDGs, and help share these recommendations with other readers both on-site and via social media platforms.

Results/Contributions

The book fair has inspired civic awareness through reading and awakened readers’ focus on global sustainability. Furthermore, by exploring various possibilities for development, it brings sustainable ideals from the page into daily life—transforming knowledge into actions to protect our environment, and co-create a sustainable future.
