Abstract/Objectives

Previous research has shown that students with stronger academic execution volition tend to demonstrate more positive learning outcomes. However, in educational settings, many students lack sufficient academic execution volition. How to effectively promote students’ academic execution volition has thus become an important educational issue. The present study proposes the concept of academic execution facilitation consciousness, suggesting that by activating students’ academic execution facilitation consciousness, their academic execution volition and learning performance can be enhanced. If the findings support the hypotheses, the primary academic contribution of this study lies in introducing the concept of academic execution facilitation consciousness. Additionally, the study proposes practical approaches to activating this consciousness in order to enhance middle school students’ academic execution volition and learning performance.
