In the era of the "experiential economy," how people perceive the products and objects around them through the sense of touch, leading to the formation of preferences or dislikes, is the core focus of this ongoing study. The project results include: (1) clarify the characteristics of word selection in the expression of "touch" during material experiences, (2) propose the potential extension of "touch imagery" in product planning, and (3) establish a deepened application model of "touch design" for sensory products. The aim is for the research findings to effectively address the sensory needs of future living, as well as to provide important references for the construction of design education and the practical application of design industry theory.
