Abstract/Objectives
Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching model that is different from the existing system. As the main role of learning, students explore social phenomena, define problems, plan solutions, and try to solve problems. Constantly revise and create unique learning experiences in the process. In response to the Master Framework for the 12-year Basic Education Curriculum Guidelines, this workshop cooperated with the Chang-He Educational Foundation, which focuses on education. From urban exploration, college students and high school students formed teams to develop innovative proposals through a weekly workshops 5 times for a period of 120 days.
Results/Contributions
Between these weekly workshops 5 times for a total of 120 days, high school students from Hsinchu County and various colleges and universities were divided into 5 groups. Innovative proposals were developed from urban exploration, including: the promotion of the cultural assets of Hsinchu Dongning Palace, the research on the operation model of the revitalization of old buildings, the local education module of Beimen Street, the proposal for the youth base of Zhulian Temple, the revitalization of Hsinchu Jhongyang Market and other issues.
