Abstract/Objectives
The “Book Fair: Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic” exhibition includes 3 main topics. “Historical Pandemics” covers lessons from the past; “Reflecting the Present” covers the ongoing controversies through past and present; “Looking into the Future” analyze the challenges humanity will have to face, the post-pandemic world, and expectations for change. The exhibition offers a chance for the society to rethink and explore more possibilities in the post-pandemic world.
Results/Contributions

The exhibition displays 129 books in the Light Up Zone, with the full list available on the exhibition website. There were three talks: “Between News and History: Pandemic of the Century” by Jui-Chang Chang, President of Central News Agency; “The Development of COVID-19 Rapid Test Kit” by Prof. Chao-Min Cheng from the Institute of Biomedical Engineering; “The Image of Disease in Art and Literature” by Prof. Jung-Hsi Kao from the Department of Arts and Design. Through the talks and exhibition, we record the bits and pieces of the life in a pandemic. This event provides participants with brand new viewpoints on diseases and pandemics through reading, and offers a chance to readapt and learn in this society affected by the pandemic.
