We have completed two of the world's original blue-free art exhibitions, using the concept of a healthier and unconventional use of light, incorporating "candlelight" in a friendly way into art, making lighting art and good light from art.
This year's two exhibitions have brought the concept of Blue Harmless closer to the public. In addition to the on-site exhibitions, the related achievements have also received more than 60 media reports, allowing people nationwide to learn more about Blue Harmless and innovative arts and culture without having to visit the exhibition.
In addition, we also conducted a study on the effect of the brightness and reading time of the table lamp light source and font size with or without blue light, and the effect of the screen light source with or without blue light on the eye pressure of the primary and secondary eyes.
1. when reading, it is bright enough; reading with candlelight without blue light, the brightness required is lower and the safe reading time is longer.
2.Even with corrected vision, the deeper the myopia, the higher the brightness required for reading and the shorter the safe reading time.
3. The smaller the font size, the higher the required luminance and the shorter the safe reading time.
4. The secondary eye requires higher brightness than the primary eye.
5. The blue light filtered from the screen can effectively reduce eye pressure.
These findings provide answers to questions that were previously unanswerable by ophthalmologists, and through media coverage, these original and important eye care solutions have been disseminated nationwide.
In order to let people understand the importance of blue-free light sources through actual experience, we have set up two blue-free demonstration sites in the reading rooms of the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Materials at National Tsing Hua University for students, faculty and staff to use and experience.
After replacing the original white light source with a candlelight bulb or applying a color temperature reduction film, it became blue light free. Using a blue light quantification spectrometer SRI-100, we verified that the blue light had indeed been filtered out.
