Sustainable Development Goals
Abstract/Objectives
Due to professionalization and pragmatization of higher education, naturalists have become very rare type of scholars. Facing unprecedented and difficult conservation challenges, we must reform the traditional higher education curricula to integrate knowledge from multiple fields, so that students have the opportunity to access more diverse resources, such as museums, zoological and botanical parks, seed banks, field studies in order to comprehend the Earth's biodiversity, the interactions between species along with the conservation of wild fauna and flora.
Results/Contributions

Since 2016 we have recruited students from various institutes and educated more than 70 participants. The program is very distinctive. It lays emphasis on active learning, critical thinking and teamwork in terms of data collection, reports as well as field practice during the semester.
