Abstract/Objectives
According to “Indoor air quality act”, the regulated places from the announcement ,main campus – learning resource center(MXIC building) (announced palace code 102-05-0012) and Nanda campus - library (announced palace code 102-05-0014) respectively, are required to process the management in regular inspection and maintenance of air quality.
Results/Contributions

1.NTHU annually commissions a testing agency accredited by the Ministry of Environment to conduct regular inspections and submits the Indoor Air Quality Maintenance and Management Plan documents, along with indoor air quality test reports, to the Hsinchu Environmental Protection Bureau in compliance with regulations.

2.During midterm and final exam periods, indoor air quality self-monitoring is conducted in areas such as the library and night study zones to ensure effective management.

3.Irregular inspections are carried out in cooperation with routine audits conducted by the Environmental Protection Bureau to maintain ongoing indoor air quality management.

4.In 2021, NTHU applied for and was awarded the "Indoor Air Quality Self-Management Label" at the Excellent Level, certified by the Ministry of Environment, with a validity of three years. In 2024, NTHU continued to receive the Excellent Level Indoor Air Quality Self-Management Label.
