The music appreciation materials arranged in this course are selected from music works that are close to students' lives. Through the introduction of music in this course, it aims to broaden the students' appreciation of music in both breadth and depth. The procedure of this course begins with listening to music, allowing students to experience music, engage in critical thinking on related topics, stimulate creativity, and become acquainted with local musical culture, thereby establishing a connection with it. It also integrates with their professional studies. This cyclical model aims to stimulate students' critical thinking and creativity, striving to achieve interdisciplinary aesthetic practice by combining music with other fields. The course introduces various types of music, including classical music, film music, dance music, theatrical music, and folk music, while also teaching students about instruments, musical styles, and forms, among other music-related knowledge. This expands students' musical horizons, enhances their aesthetic literacy, and encourages their active participation in related arts and cultural activities, ensuring that the benefits of lifelong learning continue even after the course concludes.
