The delegation was invited to attend a class on English teaching methods by Professor Yoon from the Department of English Education at Chuncheon National University of Education, where they observed the class and participated in discussions. This provided both Taiwanese and Korean student teachers an opportunity to exchange knowledge on English language teaching between the two countries. The Korean side also arranged for the delegation to observe classes at Chuncheon National University of Education's affiliated elementary school, including a sixth-grade English class co-taught by both foreign and local teachers, and a first-grade arts class. Additionally, the delegation toured the campus and classrooms, gaining insight into Korea's local teaching models and strategies.
Apart from academic exchange, the delegation also had the opportunity to learn and experience traditional Korean music and dance, as well as visit local attractions in Chuncheon during breaks. This was a great aid in fostering educational and cross-cultural understanding.
Chuncheon National University of Education is a teacher training university, and through this exchange, both the Taiwanese and Korean students and faculty were able to share academic insights on English teaching and explore the diverse aspects of elementary education in Korea, gaining valuable inspiration from the experience.
